Feeling "Felt"

A research says that as infants we learn to mentalize from "Outside In ". When a child sees his distress or happiness felt on his mother's face, he feels "FELT". Two things happen in the child's brain.....Firstly, He feels his mother's response to be comforting, and secondly,he begins to understand his own feelings.
Thus, he sees what he feels in the face of his mother. She has "His mind in Her mind" .............and "He discovers his mind in Her mind"! This is how the child feels "Felt". Isn't this process simply mindblowing?
